At twenty-five years old, Justin Marks has already watched his uncle leave for the English world, his mother pass away, and his father slip into dementia at an early age. In order to discover his place in the world, he leaves his Amish roots and begins to travel, eventually coming home just in time to meet a beautiful stranger with a terrible secret. His opportune moment as a knight in shining armor saves Saran’s life, but now he knows that he must go with her and continue to protect her for as long as he’s needed.
The two go on the run together, always on the lookout for the hired help sent by her stepfather or his boss, who have made no secret of their plans to end Saran’s life. She knows too much, and it is only through Justin’s family connections that an end to the nightmare is mentioned. However, a three-day trip still stands between them and their hope for peace at last.

Wish this story had been continued to the trial and marriage. It ended too soon for my satisfaction. I did enjoy it very much.
A good mystery story to read. This author is a good writer. I have enjoyed other books she has written,
Learning of a great danger to herself & her mother leads Saran on a race to find a way to live a godly Amish life, while living in the Englishers world in order to save them both from death. Amish mystery-Saving Grace offers readers a unique view into the many difficulties the Amish face while trying to compete in a world where their old ways can no longer compete with the Englishers for a living. Fall in love with Saran & follow her adventures as she flees her protected life in the Amish town she loves in order to bring justice to her world.
